WAYS TO GIVE
To give online with our Churchteams system, simply click the "CLICK TO GIVE" button above.
To give by texting, simply text the word “give” to 704-457-0544. You will receive a link that will guide you through the process for a one-time donation or to set up recurring giving. You will be prompted to create a “New Account Password” if you choose to set up recurring giving or to save your payment information. You can change your recurring contribution amount or saved payment method any time by using our Churchteams giving platform.
Place your financial gift in the offering boxes on the back of the Worship Center on Sunday mornings. If you would like offering envelopes, please contact Bailey Caldwell in the church’s finance office by phone at 704-864-4226. (If requested, offering envelopes are mailed to members every two months.)
Many members give to the church through their bank’s online bill pay system. As with online giving at our church website, you can set up recurring gifts or a one-time donation through most bill pay systems. The church’s mailing address is 5323 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28056.
The church’s finance office sends all donors a “statement of contributions” each January showing all contributions for the previous year. You are able to use this statement when preparing your annual tax return. Additionally, the church sends statements to all donors quarterly during the year for your review. If at any time you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact Bailey Caldwell in the Church Office (704)-864-4226.
What is Tithing?
A tithe (which means "tenth") is defined as the first 10% of a person's income that is to be given back to the local church and is a principle taught throughout the entire Bible. When we tithe, we are expressing worship in the one tangible way that we have to put God first in our lives.
Bringing our tithes is an opportunity for us to give God our thanks, show we trust Him, and fight against greed in our hearts...all while allowing us to be a part of the most important work in life, that is, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ!
If you would like to read more about what the Bible has to say about tithing, check out these passages: Leviticus 27:30, Proverbs 3:9-10, Malachi 3:6-10, Matthew 6:19-24 and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2.
